Growing up around my dad, who had a construction company, I learned that hard work is something to be valued. In 2000, my electrician journey began with an apprenticeship at Murray Electric. The company required long hours, overtime, and lots of traveling. Shortly after, I went back to my Douglas County roots and finished my apprenticeship training with Dan Bean, who owns Bean Electric. After four years in the apprenticeship program, I became a journeyman and in 2008 I started working for Cascade Electric. Then in 2012 I met the love of my life, my wife Cara, and a year later decided to start my own electrical company called Otis Electric. Due to having to spend countless hours doing paperwork and not getting to spend evening hours with my growing family...I dissolved Otis Electric in 2015 and started working again with an amazing Christian owned company, Bean Electric. Around 2013 was when I joined the building department as an electrical inspector on a part time basis.
Now fast forward to 2021...I've got a beautiful wife and four amazing children. Since my youngest is in school, my wife and I, decided it would be the perfect timing to start Otis Electric back up again. This is a great decision for my family and I'm excited to continue to provide excellent electrical services to our wonderful community.
